I have a 2005 JD 240 skid steer. A friend just gave me a small JD backhoe designed to mount on the back of a tractor. I'm thinking of welding this to a skid steer front mount plate. I worked many years as a fabrication welder. I'm confident I can get this attached and plumbed into my 240. My question; Is the JD 240 enough machine to handle this? This backhoe weighs 1050 pounds. Does the 240 have enough flow to make this work? Any thoughts here welcomed!
