The 2044 has welded axle tubes like a bobcat. It has one piece axle shafts so pulling the axle is a most for seals. The chains have master links so the chains can be easily removed. There are small covers inside the machine to get at the axle nuts. Over all not the worst thing to do axle seals on. I would do one of these over an old 6 or 740 series bobcat anyday.</p></blockquote><p></p>
