I know first hand that track replacement is a no brainer and likewise for a wheeled machine. But what happens when you add the extra linkage for articluating the wheels and linkages? How much extra services are required and when they break are they easy to repair.

In the Spring WorkSaver, the editors wrote an article on the A220 that was using for 5000 hours at some recycling facility. They reported no major breakdowns at all, and the axles had no problems. I'd assume that fixing the axle would be expensive, but if after 5000 hours at a recycling facility didn't bring the machine down, I'm sure that thousands of hours on any other job site wouldn't, either. I've heard my service guy at the dealer say the axles aren't too bad to fix.
