First post... Anyone successful in getting an alternator in a Toolcat WITHOUT taking the cab off? The service manual calls for a cab removal which looks like a nightmare. I see Bobcatdan did one a few years ago, but it looks like he has not logged in a few years. Thanks, Frank

I can't offer an educated opinion on this, other than if you can't see or feel everything involved in removing it it could be problematic getting it back together.
There is an entire Toolcat forum over at TractorByNet, you might have a look there, it could have been covered.
I've heard that there are a bunch of annoying splash screens for signup, I don't know since I'm automatically logged in once I hit their icon, and have my adblocker running full bore. It's a good site for tractor related stuff, and we have a lot of crossover.
