air in fuel or bad primer bulb?

machine de idled a couple times and i thought the fuel filter was plugged- i put a new fuel filter on and primed bulb- machine ran for a bit then died out- hard restart- had to sqeeze primer bulb again- has done it a couple times- bled air out screw on top of housing- still doing it- primer bulb collapses and doesnt allow constant squeezing- squeeze it and it doesnt reinflate..........

I think that the pick-up in the fuel tank is plugged ,try to take some low pressure ( 5 or so psi)air and blow back into the tank with the bulb removed and the fuel cap off.
