I bought the machine as a project. I had the engine complete rebuilt. The only original part on it is the starter. Even the injectors were rebuilt. The problem I am having is the injection pumps. For what ever reason the shop did not install them and I need advice on measuring for the proper shims. I have new pumps to install once I get theis figured out. I have done alot of research on the engine, and I understand how the fuel rack needs to move freely. I have the pumps instright because I needed to move the machine into the shop. It is blowing black smoke from the exhaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
