Interested in understanding an 863G better. I have a T180 with SJC controls, and I worry that (another) glitch will require another $$$ trip to the Bobcat fixer. So what sort of sensors and computer interaction goes on in an 863G (key ignition, standard foot and hand controls)? For example, how many error codes are there? [Hundreds for the T-180.] And of those, how many pertain to a sensor that only Bobcat can fix or calibrate? I'd like to be able to do all the work on the machine myself. Any guidance about what to look for specifically in an 863, other than the general stuff (leaks, cracks, loose bushings, poor starting)? :) ---RC

Not sure what really goes wrong to keep an eye out for, just watch for smoke, poor starting and loss of power. Make sure the oil and filters get changed at the correct times.
Does it run an oil cooled deutz? if so, timing belt every 1000 hours or if you have never don it, you probably should.
