Any engine oil is fine!
The bearings and gears/chains aren't doing any high speeds. I personally run 20W50 engine oil.

they recommend using hyd oil or 10w30.
Where did you see hydraulic oil as a Bobcat recomendation , not that I think it would make a big difference , 10w30 has always been the spec ----------if you want to kick it up a little you can add some of the Lucas oil additive , that stuff really clings

Bobcat does make any fluids for the chaincase , the fluids are made by oil producers and Bobcat has their labels put on it , 10w30 is the recomended weight , you will pay more for the Bobcat label
