I have a 773 Bobcat. I had to replace the hydrostatic drive motor seals due to the fluid going into the gear case. My question is with the drive motors. One motor your can rotate the shaft by hand and the other one you can not move at all. I was wondering if this one is locked up and what would cause this. This is also the side that the seal was leaking. I am adding a picture of the motor I am referring to. Thanks for the help.

you should not be able to turn motor by hand, i mean if you want to roll it thru takes a pretty substantive

It looks like we will also either be replacing the seals or the entire hydrostatic drive motor on our 773. The right one was leaking, and we let Bobcat replace the entire drive motor. Now the left motor is leaking. We're going to attempt to replace seals or motor ourselves. Anyone with any experience with this, please weigh in. We're new to skidsteers, so appreciate any help. Thanks.
