Broke down my leaking tilt hydraulic cylinder today only to become confused. I looked at some seal repair kits, and it seems they give you more seals than needed in most kits...Whats throwing me is the fact that my cylinder has only 1 seal on the ram plunger, I see a couple other grooves cut out in the plunger, but they were empty upon removal.Looked in/cleaned the barrel to be sure no fragments were inside, noda, no sign of any broken/ground up seals. Is it normal for my cylinder to only have 1 seal inside?

Piston is denoted as plunger, sorry for the slang, thanks.
I believe that the kits they sell cover a few different styles, that's why there may be extras in the kit.
For the piston, you can have one that just has one pressure seal and another that has a pressure seal and two wear rings. It doesn't mean it will work any better, it's just new ideas the engineers come up with.
