on a C model 763 (before the BOSS), is that the oil warning light on the bottom right of the left side panel, it looks like a droplet of fluid inside a fuzzy circle.? Why wouldn't they put an oil pressure gauge on the unit? And is the warning light above it a glow plug warning? (it looks like a pregnant light bulb! So if it's oil pressure - it seems to be doing exactly the opposite of what I would expect - on cold mornings - when I start the unit, the light will come on - as I try to up the rpm's. I back it down to idle, and the light goes off. As the unit warms up the point that the light comes on - gets higher and higher (RPM wise). after a minute of running - the light doesn't come on at any RPM. Anyone want to edumacate me - for I know not what the heck I am doing! Carl Johansson

Top light is engine oil pressure.
Bottom light is Transmission/hydro charge pressure.
Your oil is to cold to get through the filter until it warms up a few minutes. At a idle it can get through fast enough so the light goes off, if you increase the rpm to high the filter becomes a restriction to the thick oil and the warning light comes on. Just let the motor run at a lower rpm, so the light stay out for 3 to 5 minutes then you should be able to rev the engine up enough to drive the loader which will heat the oil even faster.
Of course it can also be a indication the hydaulic filter need changed, so it would be a good idea to see when it was serviced last.
What kind of temps are your parking the machine in?
