When I engage the overhead switches I get no pressure up front. When I set the overhead switch to lock I get pressure if I operate the switch to the left. How do I get the hydraulics to stay on so I can operate my 709 backhoe? Thanks for your help.

Sorry. If I operate the RIGHT STICK switch to the left.
AUXILIARY HYDRAULICS OPERATION
For MOMENTARY OPERATION:

1. Press Aux Button On Dash (One LED should Light)
2. Use ROCKER Switch on Right Handle to control flow in either direction.
For CONTINUOUS OPERATION: (ie mower, backhoe, snowblower)
3. Press Aux Button on dash a second time (Two LED's will be lit)
4. Squeeze and release the TRIGGER on the Right Handle.
Flow is one direction and continuous. You can now operate the backhoe.
5. Squeeze and release TRIGGER to stop continuous flow.
Press Aux Button on dash to turn off Aux Hydraulics.

Thanks so much! The trigger pull is what I needed but didn't have. Is it possible to move the machine by spinning around in the backhoe seat and operating the sticks if I don't engage the foot brake?

that is the purpose of the traction lock override button. it will allow you to move machine while still keeping lift and tilt locked out.
