I seem to be having a problem with a faulty engine oil pressure switch. I would like to go to a local parts store to save money. The ones I have called can not cross ref Bobcat part but tell me if i know the oil pressure activation pressure and oil pressure range for the switch they can match it. It has a Kubota V1903 B engine. Can any one help me with that information? Also is there any advantage in putting a tee connection and installing an oil pressure guage on the engine? Thanks

I see no real advantage in a pressure gauge, its just there to tell you if you loose oil presure.
Call around for your local kubota engine dealer, they will have a suitable pressure switch. The switch is specific to a kubota engine, not to bobcat.
I got mine from our local kubota non-genuine parts dealer, it was only a few dollars.
