I have a 1986 743 with about 2800 hours, the problem I am having is the pedal sticks when you hit it to go up, so the bucket doesn't stop traveling upwards unless you push the pedal down on the other side. It doesn't seem like any of the linkage is hanging up, I'm guessing it is the valve. If that is the case, what is the procedure to repair it and how time consuming is it? Thanks! Dave

Sounds like a broken spring on that spool in the control valve. I sure someone will answer this soon on the repair procedure.

It could be the sprimg or possibly a bent spool causing it to bind up. I would start by checking that you have no obstructions on the linkages first.
