743 creep fix

Hi does anyone know the plates that hold the steering location cams on a743 Clark bobcat , slide off or is there a secret way to remove them.
I am having trouble removing them. All other references I've seen say they just slip off

I've seen the video where the guy tears the linkage bars down and replaces those round discs. He talks about sliding those bars off that you're talking about. But everywhere I look trying to fix my own creeping 743 I can't find anyone saying if the left wheels are creeping forward tap the block backward or tap the block forward and vice versa. They just say move them around and try to figure it out... so far I haven't LOL
