743 blow by tube showing some oil

my 743 v1702 is showing some oil out of the blow by tube does this mean what I think it means/ time for an over haul and or just by a reman motor for 3500.00, the machine is great but is it worth a new motor or should I star looking to replace the old girl? thank you to all who want to give your help

Mine has been doing that for a while, no power loss though, I just add oil every 5 hrs. and keep on going. If everything else is good I would eventually buy a reman motor. just my 2 cents.

Small amounts of oil are normal, if there is a pool of black oil, its time to be worried. The way its plumbed even a new engine will loose a little oil.
If it starts and runs well, i wouldn't be concerned.
