742 dipstick tube

Anybody have a spare dipstick tube? Mine has broke off in the block...
742 with KSG416 Ford engine

You might have to have one made. I hope you've kept all the pieces for reference.

I see in the parts catalog that there were a couple of different dipstick tubes depending on serial number. I assume that the one you broke was the bent steel tube?

It is a fairly long curved steel tube. I can probably make or find something that works, but figured it couldn't hurt to post up.

If the piece in the block is still there and you need to remove it, grease up a tap and thread it internally, screw a bolt into it with some sort of spacer between the head of the bolt(I prefer threaded rod) and the block--tighten it down to extract the broken piece. HTH.
