Can anyone inform me on the proper way to drain the hydraulic fluid from my machine. I am approaching 3000 hrs on my machine and am considering doing a hydraulic flush, chain case flush and maybe a timing belt change. The manual says @ 3000 hours change the timing belt. Has anyone ever done these repairs and what is the degree of difficulty for a begginner mechanic. Tips, or comments? Thanks in advance!

I drained my hyd. fluid from the aux. hyd.. I ran my engine at just above idle and drained, into a 5 gal. bucket.
A friend of mine has a 863 and I believe it has the removeable plates on both sides?. That should help with belt replacement.
Your machine might have a small plate on the bottom with three or four bolts. Under this plate there should be two drain plugs, one for fuel and the other for the chain case.
