07’ ct322 auxiliary hydraulic hookup

I haven't had this machine long, today I tried connecting the hoses for my brush cutter.
I can't figure out how to relieve the hydraulic pressure to connect the lines.

On mine the auxiliary ports are controlled by the right steering handle. There is a knob on the side of the handle when turned allows the top of the handle to pivot about 90 degrees. Depending on which way you pivot the handle your attachment will do something. I find that I need to attach to the item with the skid plate; turn off the skid steer and then relieve the pressure by pivoting the handle in both directions a few times. If that does not work, I try connecting the male end which will bleed off pressure. 90% of the time this works. Other times it can be stubborn and I walk away. Come back a few minutes later and I can attach the hoses.
