    Engine stops

Just got my bobcat running again after putting in a new head gasket and some other goodies. I got it started ran for about 20 minutes ran pretty good then it lost power and quit. It stated right up and died again. I am thinking it's a fuel problem it did not get hot before it shut off 180...

    Possible blown head gasket

So if your head gasket is shot there would be some kind of symptoms. Overheating, water in the oil, oil in the water, white smoke from the exhaust., Things like that if you have none of these run it keep an eye out for any of them symptoms and do your thing.

    Head gaskets

Yep you don't need to pull the engine the head comes off pretty easily once you removed the intake and exhaust manifolds. Pull the valve cover and remove your head bolts, however it's a good idea to mark each head bolt so you can put them back in the same spot.

    New selenoid

I put a new selenoid on my 743 bobcat, the wire for the glow plug broke off, I did take pics of the before change but I can't really tell where it goes. My problem is I am not getting power to my glow plugs. Does anyone have a diagram that shows where the wires go.

    743 head

I just put a second head on mine in 8 years, it got hot a couple of times and bamm there went my head. I flushed the radiator, and the hydrolics seem to flow very well, however I have not got it running yet hose leaks. I got my head from Amazon with gaskets for 609 total. It's a great machine...

    Head bolts

Just put a new head on my 743 bobcat I went a little out of sequence when torquing down the bolt's 1 3 instead of 3 1 before I caught my mistake will that be a problem?

    Question regarding a 743

I paid 350 for mine about 5 years ago, I can't tell you where I bought it from I ordered off the internet. It's been a good unit and it was easy to install. Just type in bobcat enclosures and a lot of things come up.

    Head bolt's

When putting a head on 743 does going out of sequence torquing the bolts matter a whole lot I did the correct bolts but not in the correct order

    Towing a dead 743

Some have release valves, but I have been told that if it don't to take off or loosen a hydrologic hose then it's supposed to allow it to move. I have not tried this not sure that will work.

    743 radiator

The cracked head has already taken place, however this thing has run hot since I owed it. The system the way it is set up does not really allow for an abundance of cool air when the radiator sits on top. I have no fan on the flywheel that produces much air if any. This is the he 2nd head I have...
