The only way to use ether in an engine is through a nozzle in the intake manifold, wired so it can only inject the ether when the engine is turning over, and is then spread thoughout the whole engine, not just 1 or 2 cylinders. If you don't have ether injection, at least have the engine turning...

It doesn't "give it a 2 speed or high flow" it simply turns the controller on The deluxe panel is another option that can be turned off or on also.

We put a loop hose in the aux. couplers and turn them on to warm the hyd. oil up. That way your not blowing the relief.

Downgrading is turning off the options, such as Hi flow, auto bucket postioning etc. I don't know what options you have or what version your software is, but it might be worth the time to have your dealer install ver 42 and make sure everything is turned on.

It sounds like a ground/connection problem. Check for short to ground. Check the BICS valve solenoid for resistance, should be 8 to 10 ohms. Checking for lack of ground. Check that the BICS controller is properly grounded. The ground is the Black wire #70 at terminal B on the cab harness...

I assume you are talking about the verticle latching pins ?? If so, clean as much out as possible, beat the sides with a hammer to knock the rust out, heat them up with a torch, and while still warm, spray some PB Blaster on them. It might take a few times, and a pipe, but the blaster will work...

If it has a Turbo on it check that out first. Take the intake hose off and see if the impeller has any play in it. If not, check the inside of the muffler to see if there is any fresh oil in it. If so it could be from past or present internal engine problems ie turbo, valves, rings

You should just have to push the toe of the pedal forward, and it should lock in that position, till you kick it out with your heel.
