It turned out to not be a tapered thread. I got it back together with the new quick connects and I only had to go to four hydraulic hose places to find the right parts, one twice. I don't know if it is just me but everything seems to be two or three times as hard these days. The work is easy...
I have a 443B that I purchased several months ago and I want to order new quick connects from Parker that will fit a modern attachment I purchased. It looks like the new attachment has 3/4" connectors. It looks like the original connectors were 1/2". I haven't pulled them off yet because I...
When we hit rocks like that my labor guy likes to fill the trench with water and let it soak in. It seems to make things easier. He also uses both a digging bar and a pick to loosen up the rocks. If it is a solid mass the jack hammer is best. Have fun.
I am planning on purchasing a breaker for my Bobcat 443B. As I understand it the auxiliary flow is only 6.8. Blue Diamond is the only one I have found that works with this low flow. But the Blue Diamond price is a bit over the top and they don't even throw in complementary Vaseline. I prefer...
I replaced several hoses with the generic hoses from Tractor Supply on a cheap Chinese tractor and back hoe. I figured anything would be better than what it came with. However, after a few years the tractor supply hoses looked worse than the remaining original hoses on the machine. On top of...
How deep? 35' isn't very long if you don't have to go too deep. Many years ago I picked up a used Makita jackhammer off of craigslist. That thing has been great for small jobs. I even dug a septic system with it by hand, yikes! That was in New Mexico and there was a lot rocks to deal with...
I know my current system will not take standard attachments but will the S70 system? If it does, that is a good reason to modernize in that direction. If not, I may as well keep what I have. As I purchase new attachments I can modify them easily to the current system. It seems to me that...
Reading your post it became immediately apparent to me I made a typo in the first post, it is a 443B not a 453B. Sorry about my clumsy fingers. The owners manual does say the Bob-tach was an optional feathre.was an optional.
I am away for the weekend but I will take a photo of the face on it...
Here are a couple of photos of what I have. The release lever is a mock up I am working with to figure our the proper hole placement. As you can see the attachment side is super simple and attachments can easily be modified to this system without expensive adaptor plate or a heavy duty brake...
