a finance ? and hours ?

I am looking at buying a ctl or ss... and it will have to be financed. Does anybody know anything about ACG Equipment Financt? Also, I have always just rented a skidsteer when I needed one and am not familiar with how long the diesel engines last and such. I am looking at one in particular that has a bit over 2000 hours on a 2005 model. Basically, does anybody know the average hours these motors are capable of before needing a rebuild or anything like that? While I am at it, since I am not all that familiar with ctl in particular, is there any questions that I need to ask and anything that I need to look for on this particular ctl? it is a T250 w/ gold package. I really can use any and all advice.. as I do not want to make a bad decision on this. I appreciate the help!!!

If a diesel is serviced properly and taken care of, it should last 4-6,000 hours. It will slowly start to get harder to start with age and loose power but it happens so slowly you won't notice it. A 2,000 hour machine should serve you well if it has been taken care of. Check pins and linkages for wear, it it was greased regularly it should be quite tight still.
I know nothing about track machines except they do cost more to repair the undercarage and chains than a SSL

I would look at the condition of the tracks. A set of tracks will cost $4000 new. Also look at the rollers and idlers as they can start to be a problem. I would also raise the cab to look for any oil leaks.
