New here and could not find any info on this with the search engine. Does anyone have any idea what it would take, cost wise as well as procedure to install, a heater/air conditioner unit in my 873c. I realize I would have to add the door and windows but since my machine is oil cooled would the heater be electric? Where would the unit mount? Obviously I would like to do this as economically as possible. If it cost too much I will scrap the idea. Is there a way to price out such a job or maybe a junk yard I could buy some of the parts such as the door and sides from? Is there an aftermarket supplier for the AC/heater unit? Thanks for any help. Mechdriver

I'm not sure where you could mount the HVAC in a c series??? Are you sure it is not a g series? On my t200 the a/c unit is designed to fit perfectly for a g series cab and is mounted behind the seat up under the cab. The heater core is also in that unit and the heater works using oil instead of coolant.
I would just trade your unit in on a unit with the AC/heater already on it. I think it would be much cheaper.

I think getting rid of your 873 for something that has HVAC is a wiser idea, there are companies out there that do HVAC for heavy equipment, look into Artic Wolf industries.
