I purchased a L-555 Deluxe in December 2006. I bought it online and when I got it the lift arms stayed put very well. The dump cylinder drifted a little but over quite a bit of time. Now , six months later, the lift and dump cylinders both drift dramatically, particularly when the lift arms are fully extended. i am a brickmason and it is a real problem when I have a cube of brick in the air. Also the guy I bought it from said it was a 1998 but I have since discovered that the L-555 wasn't made after 1993. How do I find the actual model year? Thanks, Micah

You may need to replace the seals in the rams, not a hard job to do. If that doesn't fix it, you may need to replace the seals in your load checks in the control block.
Start with the ram seals, they are cheap and easy to replace.
