Can anyone tell me why my bobcat 763 jumps while turning on Pavenent? I have to turn really slowly so that it Doesn't jump. The only time it Doesn't jump is when I Have no Bucket on. would apppreciate any input. Thanks Mike

It will be to do with grip.
If the tyres can't slid, it will have to hop to move.
Try wetting the pavement and turn on that, it should help you slid better

It will also help with tyre wear, when its slick you reduce the wear. When i do any work on concrete i make sure its kept wet. It reduces wear and more importantly reduces black tyre marks on the concrete.

What type or surface are you running on? Sounds like there is alot of traction on it.
Asphalt is the worst.

Yes it is ashpalt that it that it jumps the worst. Sometimes it jumps on other surfaces but never on any soft surfaces where there is not as much traction. is there better tires i could buy or do i just have to live with it.

Its the nature of the beast i'm afraid, ALL skid steers will hop to some extent.
Just try to turn slower and it won't be quite as bad.

45psi is not enough air pressure i used to have an 863 i ran 100 psi in the tires no problems increase your air pressure ang you should get rid of your problem

This is typical R4 tire tread pattern action, if you dont need the extra traction and spend more time on hard surfaces you should concider a L5 pattern tire. Check them out at

I have the same size tires, and i believe they are rated at 50psi max

I know its an old thread but i will say when I load our dump trailer an pavement or concrete i will throw down a 5 gal. bucket of sand at the area I turn on, it makes turning 100 times nicer and nothing gets thrown out your bucket when lifting.
