Hi. Am a first time forum user. Bought a new Cat 252B last summer as a do it all machine for the small farm. It seems to work great with one small problem. Approx 1/3 of the time when re-attaching the auxiliary hydraulics [4-way bucket, auger, etc.] the pressure will not release off the system and the quick connectors can't be attached. Have followed the directions in the manual to the letter and even tried some suggestions from the dealer, all for nothing. Same problem yesterday, fought it for an hour and gave up. This morning went out and connectors popped on as they should. Dealer is no help, says they have heard of this but don't know how to fix it. Has any body else had this problem or are there any suggestions? If I was in buisness and had this problem the machine would already be gone. Thanks.

Worse case , loosen the fitting at the couplers or attachment and relieve the pressure.
I know its a pita. I have had this when the problem is the attachment not the loader.
I always idle the engine when I perform the last function with the attachment, then go through the pressure release step. Have found that attachments that are removed in cold weather then re attached when its hotter out can suffer this problem.

Ken
