good after noon folks been lurking for a while and finally have some ??'s been looking for a skidsteer for a while and found a 753H with cab and heat and aux hydro, 2700hrs the thing runs beautiful and seems to operate as it should except it creaps alittle when sitting still idleing, I have read this seems like a fairly straight forward fix. what other things would you guys reccomend checking???? its got no blow by, or major leaks that I can see so what do you think $6500?? thanks in advance Dan

A little creeping is normal, this can be adjusted.
The price seems pretty good to me!

for that price I'm sure it's not at a dealer, but it would be nice if you had a hyd pressure test to see what your hyd pump is putting out. If you haven't done it yet./ I would pop the cab up and see what lurk's under the seat. Tazza is more up on thing's than me. It does seem to be a good price. Getting anything with it beside's a reg. bucket? dennis

no just getting the straight edge bucket and a couple cutting edges, and two spare tires and rims. I planned on taking tools to pop the cab when I go back down to possible pick it up and check underneath before closing the deal. I talked to the Bobcat dealer here in town and boy you guys are right their customer service is top knotch the service manager spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me answering ??'s and said I could bring it up to our neck of the woods and flip it for a good profit if I wanted to (wasnt my intentions) but always good to know. Well I think I'll be making a trip to the savings account in the a.m. then hookin up the trailer, looks like we will have a new cat in the cage.

Well update........picked up the 753 yesterday and brought it home......used it for alittle while then put it away for the night. Today got out the heavy duty degreaser and preasure washer pulled the footwell plates and side plates and preasure washed the wizz out of it. Actually the inside was suprisingly clean and leak free for a machine this old. Now for my question is does the cab harness unplug all as one so I can pull it right off and paint the white all as one or should I just leave it on and cover it good with plastic and tape???? Thank you to all in the previous posts for your pointers on what to look for when buying a used Bobcat.

Assuming this is the same as my 763, and I think it should be, yes the harness disconnects from underneat back by the pivot point. Can't remember if it's only one plug or not , but should be fairly straight forward.
Sounds like a good score on this machine, the fact that it was quite clean in there should be a good indication that it was well taken care of.

Well I got it all painted up this weekend and am just waiting for the decals to come and it will look brand new. I decided to leave the cab on but it would come right off after un-doing three plugs. I wound up painting the whole inside (under seat, and foot wells) with POR-15 and spray on bedliner which should kill and keep it from rusting. I'll put some pics up once I figure out how. Went to the local dealer this morning looking for the weather stripping to go around the bottom of the cab and they just gave it to me for free which was a nice suprise since I was prepared to take it in the arse for 6ft of the stuff.

Sounds like you're making good progress with your new to you machine. As far as the weather stripping goes, they probably got it figured that since you're painting it all up, and your experiences with them up to now are positive they'll get their money out of you on attachments. After all, the pull to add new toys is too strong to resist, don't try, it'll just drive you crazy.
