I purchased a set of Vreten stone forks a few years ago to use on my tractor. Now that I've got a S250 I thought I'd get the skidsteer adapter to use on it. Trouble is they don't tip back enough. After looking online at skidsteer rock buckets I can see they are made at an acute angle where the stone forks I have are at 90 degrees. I suppose I can shim out the bottom of the adapter to get the angle I need. Any thoughts or suggestions? Maybe just keep them on the tractor. I do have a set of latch boxes coming to make an adapter for the tractor loader so I can switch attachments between the two.

I am planning on making a set of forks for my Bobcat in the next week or so. I was going to make the bottom sit out further than the top to give more back tilt. Many people that adapt them to a skid steer forget about this.
You are spot on about shiming the bottom of the adaptor.
