hi guys. I just purchased a late '70's John Deere 125 (gas engine). It has been sitting for a number of years and after a tune up, engine seems to run well. This is my first skid steer, and while mechanically inclined. I am in the "learning" stage when it comes to hydrostatic/hydraulic systems. Could someone please explain to me how the "pressure relief" system works??, or if this sounds "normal"?? Reason I ask is that the machine pukes hydro fluid all over (and engine stalls) when you reach the up/down limits of the bucket I haven't investigated further, but common sense would tell me that this over pressurized fluid should go back into the reservoir instead of on the ground? Does this mean a bad hose?, or something more? Also, is there a place where I can find an online Owners Manual or Service Manual for the 125?? Thanks Guys. any help GREATLY appreciated.
