I've been very pleased with the 90XT. It is an awesome loading machine. It's loading capacity is way underrated. Very powerful and easy to drive and operate. It has powerful hydraulics which is good for tree spade operation. But is hasn't been without its issues. Most of the exhaust manifold bolts either vibrated out or broke off. The electric fuel shutoff has gone out before then you are left dead in the water. We have issues with wheel bearings on all four corners. The manual say to service the wheel bearings every 1000 hours and that is about right. I normally run grouser tracks but I do have a set of VTS tracks and they really put more stress on the wheel bearings when operating a larger tree spade with lots of counterweight. When I am digging with the 54" spade I estimate the gross weight at 20k lbs for the entire machine. The belly is lower on the Case machines than most competitors and the Case is a wide machine. When in a muddy field with a heavy load the Case will sink to its belly even with the metal tracks. The two speed is a real nice option. I would like to have another one since I feel I know where to look for all the bugs.
