MY MD70 hydraulic cooler had a leak in it. Took it out to my local rad/cooler shop and I guess its all blown out. The cooler was ballooned out. They told me that its not a pressure rated cooler and cant handle much pressure, its similar to an automotive rad. Is this true for alot of these machines? They figured since its cold here -25C the oil probably got thick and couldnt get out fast enough. I dont really want to buy an OEM replacement if this is going to happen again here. Are there any other options for different coolers? I can get an OEM one for $1600 from my semi-local terex dealer.
