[QUOTE="ezridr60, post: 78875, member: 6308"] Just thought I would pass this on. Managed to talk to a mechanic at the place where we had purchased this 1840. The system is self bleeding, just hook up the hoses refill hydraulic fluid let it run at idle for several minutes and it will bleed itself. One note of caution. When installing these hoses make sure there is a slight "twist" in the proper direction so that as the rear compartment door closes the hose does not kink. He could not shed any light on the actual hose construction. He didn't know if the actual hose was a braided metal, or of a braided cloth construction with the rubber just a protective covering.
