I checked hydrostatic pump part numbers they are different between 751 and 753. although the actual hydro motor part numbers are the same. since the peugeot motor doesn't run or turn over, I checked the rotation of the starter. The peugeot runs same direction as kubota if I were to turn the engine around. That's good news! Thanks for thinking of that. I would think the center of the two halves, where the drive hoses connect, would stay in the same position. I would just take the ends off and switch sides, not actually rotate 180 degrees. That would make more sense to me. Maybe that's right?
