Pop the plate off the valve section, oil may be holding it in place but it will pop off. Get a sheet of glass and a few sheets of wet and dry sand paper. Lay the wet and dry on the glass, starting off fairly course and wet the wet and dry with oil rub the plates in like a figure 8. I did small circles but you must rotate the plate to get it even, you don't want to wear down one side more than the other. When the score marks (hopefully they are small) are gone, go down to a finer grade. Clean it all off with solvent and flow down with air. Re-install with lots of oil. There is a locating pin so you can only put the plate in one way.</p><p>Hopefully that has cleared it up a bit.</p></blockquote><p></p>
