[QUOTE="Wade, post: 71216, member: 10190"] Hello and Happy New Years to All I am helping a neighbor with an older Gehl3825. I had pointed out he had a rear axle seal leak. He is retired and not in the best of financial status ,so he ask if I might be able to look at it for him. Very Long story but I am to the point where the service book says to put all the parts back in place and torque to 150ft. Lbs. . No problem until I check the end play. Zero and tight. So I contacted the local dealer who says he only has one part number for the shims. The one that was in it original was .016. SO I had the dealer get 10 shims in for me"he said he had no idea what the thickness was going to be. The shims are here and they are .020. Are any of you aware of how I can get a shim pack with various sizes. The dealer charges $3.23 ea. so I hate to by way more than I need. Thank You for any help you can give me. Wade Greenbush Wi.
