Hello a NEWBY here, I recently purchased my first Case skid steer. It is a 1982 1845 (have owned a CL40 for 26 years) it had a rod knocking so I have pulled the engine and have another one ready to install. After cleaning out years of grease and grime I was replacing all of Heim joints and ALOT of other cobbled up messes, I came across a slight drip (5 drops per minute) on the left side drive pump control shaft. I have removed the neutral control assembly and the control arm and I see there is a snap ring on the control shaft (also one on the other end). Not sure of my next move, after removing the snap rings will I be able to replace an O ring? I have purchased a 1845 Case service manual but its a little vague about the control shaft, the Hydraulic pump illustration doesn't show the control shaft at all. thanks for all of your help
