I have a 753 f-series. There is a switch in the handles, part# 6569451, that is no longer available. On the online Bobcat catalog, the part# is noted with bulletin BTI 324. Local dealer won't share the bulletin and says I would need to bring the machine into their service department to repair with an approximate cost of $1000. I'd like to review this bulletin if someone can share.

I went to another dealer (Barron Supply) and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They printed the bulletin for me and we walked through exactly what I would need to do for my specific machine as the bulletin covered many models.

One updated new aux. hydraulic control for one handle and a blank on the other. Installing to the newer version also required some minor rewiring. In addition, the metal levers themselves that go through the panel also have to replaced to accept the new controls. Bobcat wanted about $500-$550 for the controls ($470 for one and $60 for the blank) and about $160 for new handles and grips plus labor to install. I found new OEM aux. hyd. controls out of Canada and paid $175 for the pair. Locating an aftermarket resource for the newer version of the levers, to accept the new controls, was fairly common and I found a new set with new grips for $75. It took me about 90 minutes to install everything.
