I wound up taking to hyl shop and they had a hec of a time getting apart cost me 110 with new fittings on it

I got a rear axle seal thats leaking onto the o/s of wheel . i read Mikes write up on replacling the frt , just wanting to know how to do the raar

I have the cylinder laying on the work bench , so it has a small round ring inside ? if I get that out the rest will just screw out out the cylinder, then just pull out the shaft right

I havent got the inter piece to move , is it ok to put in press to see if it will move? I know a friend had one built and he said they had to heat it before they got it apart oh yea Mike its a L555 Deluxe

I have a 555 skid steer that Im trying to rebuild the tilt cylinder on and its not like most I have done. I want to know know so you get it apart ? I have the ring off the end , but how do you get the other part out so I can repack it ?
