That's awesome news that it did the job, glad it was a success. I have yet to have to dig that deep, i messed with the right panel before due to a power issue, i didn't need to remove and stepper motors at least, thankfully getting into that panel wasn't too hard

You need a friend with a lathe, get some chrome bar and make a new rod, they really aren't hard to do.

what part is broken? they aren't very complicated, just about anyone with a lather can repair them or make a new rod.

I'd like to think that with constant load, there will be minimal shaft movement when rotating, so the figure shouldn't change. Hopefully you are over thinking it, these engines are a little more complicated than most, but they do run very well.

I'm guessing this model isn't running a spring loaded tensioner? We rebuild this model a few times a year, we do not have the fancy tension tool, the mechanic must just know what seems right. Also be aware, that it will loosen up after the belt beds its self in.

I'd like to hear how this works out, i am unsure if the ECU can re-tune its self automatically when new injectors are installed, or if you need to do a special procedure to make it do it.

So, the issue only started once you changed the glow plugs? If you only cracked fuel lines at the pump or injectors, that really shouldn't have been an issue. Are you getting any smoke? smoke tells us a lot about what is going on

You need new springs, the old ones loose tension over time, you can put gas struts on, but the springs work just fine.

I'm not really sure about what you are asking here..... I alson don't know the year model of your machine to know what model engine you are running, if it is a Kubota V33,36,3800 like i suspect you are. It runs an external injector pump unit, there is an inline pump that bolts to this housing...
