No manual yet. A friend said he would make a copy but so far no luck. I'll go ahead and get the thing off the ground, release the parking brake and see if I get any slop. Is there any adjustment on the chain or do you just keep an eye on it? I'm assuming the hydraulic fluid should be good if its...
I'm trying to get the skidsteer ready for winter and I was hoping for some advise. We recently replaced the engine oil and filter, fuel filter, and we check the fluids and grease regularly. The machine has 1500 total hours and has not been abused. I heard I should check the drive chain but I'm...
Got it fired up. I started lifting the boom with the starter motor and once it dumped the snow load and lowered the front tires the starter started turning faster and it fired up. I'm confused but happy it's back up and running.
I have a 2008 New Holland L190 that died on me and won't start. It turns over but won't even pop. I cracked one of the injector lines and I don't get anything. Plenty of fuel and the fuel is fresh. It's 16 degrees out. All of the fuses are good. This model has a mechanical fuel pump. Any help is...
I got the new hoses installed and rewired it. When I got a chance to lower the boom and check the clearance is was obvious the hoses should not have been there. Whatever held it must have come loose and let them swing under the boom. I temporarily tied the hoses so they hang right down the...
The bottom bolts ended up being carriage bolts. They were hard to get to but I was able to get the nuts off and the plate cleared, barely. One thing that I don't understand is they routed the hydraulic hoses and actuator wiring in a bundle right under the boom. With the bucket down there is...
Yup the nut are on the top. I wasn't sure if the nuts were welded in. If not I can get them off but the bolts are long and will probably bind up when I try to pull the plate. If I can fit a grinder in maybe just grind of the heads of the bolts?
My skidstreer has a hydraulic bucket release and the hose that supplies release pressure is split. If I could get the access panel off it would be no problem but to get to the lower bolts I need to remove the bucket but I can't release the bucket with the split hose. The dealer told me the only...
I live in Anchorage. Like any place it's got pros and cons. I didn't end up coming in this weekend but it fired up today without too much trouble. It sat for 2 days, temp is about 15 degrees and I didn't have the block heater plugged in. I was sort of hoping it wouldn't start so I could confirm...
Thanks to you I got the boom up. I was actually able to turn the key on, turn off the parking brake, put my foot down, then crank the starter and it worked great. I bled one then two injectors and it fired off. I think I may still have a problem but getting it started made me pretty happy. I...
That's a pretty good idea! In response to your earlier post. The machine has a working block heater and it was plugged in. We cycled the grid heater until it was nice and hot. I even went so far as to tarp the machine and use a space heater for a couple hours. It didn't even try to fire. No...
