I would say the source and use/condition take priority over hours. Buying a rental machine is generally not a great idea as the operators could care less about how they beat the crap oraulicut of the machine.
One owner/operator machines are usually the best bet... My 753 I bought from a...

I wouldn't say there is any real big difference between the two for $2000 more. Plus you know your machine and it condition better that someone elses used one... If you want to do more that the 743 is capable of I would look for a 773 as you want more lift height or look for an 8 series...
if you are clearing a lot of sidewalks consider a sweeper attachment . Not the bobcat one with the bucket but like a sweepster that throws the snow forward. if you have dry snow (not good in heavy wet snow) it will give you a much cleaner finish than a plow or bucket... you will probably...
The S130 is the replacement model for the 753 series Bobcats. which were probably the most popular model sold... Though in recent years people got obsessed with power/size and the 8 series or 2/300 series have sort of become the standard... That said the 130 will do a lot... just about...
one thing that may work is lay a rag over the male end of the connector assuming you have the round end not flat ones and give it a couple hits with a brass hammer... that should let the pressure out of the system. do it on the backhoe side and the machine side... the backhoe you have does...
here is the 773 service manual in PDF format. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TDV775KD the files are compressed to .rar format. you will need a program like winrar to uncompress the file.. winrar can be found here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AXYJ3E7S
the files are on a file sharing site cuz...
If it was mid 90”s then its not a G series. which is good if you work on it yourself...
the engine won't run with key turned to the left... its not supposed to.. it just activates a relief valve in the high pressure side of the aux hydraulics. then to run the backhoe once connected you...
let us know the year of your machine. My 753 has the key where you turn it counter clockwise from off (like acc position on american cars) it will release all aux pressure and should snap easy... do you have round or flat face connectors.. if you have the round ones, check for torn O ring in...
do you have any overall pics of the full track? thinking of doing something like that in my yard too. did you make the design from scratch or find a good info online for track desings
I really don't think you could get a bucket that is too big for that machine. If you have dry snow a snowblower attachment will work great. in that kind of snow, a Sweeper attachment works awesome. not the Bobcat verson with the bucket but a standard sweeper that sweeps everything...
