I need to remove the tank form my 317 skid steer to get a jerry can nozzle out of there. It keeps getting caught in the fuel pickup every now and then and shuts the machine down. I wait a few minutes and it fires up again but I'm sick of doing that. Anybody ever pulled the tank out? I haven't...
I picked up a shut off solenoid today to try it. At first glance it looked simple enough to replace, 2 bolts and a plug. Then I notice that there must be a pin that goes through the end of the solenoid. So before I tear into the machine and start pulling things apart, has anyone who has done...
Same thing just happened to mine. I have the same code. I know the security code and entered it and it shows as unlocked, but still acting like it is locked out. I have cycled the code, locked it and unlocked it a few times and still runs for 3 seconds and dies. Ran perfectly yesterday, and now...
Ok obviously I cannot follow directions on how to post pics. I thought I did exactly what it said but obviously not. Also, how do you edit a post so I don't have to keep replying to myself?
Didn't really want to spend the money on a tilt tach and since I had an extra bucket laying around, I decided to get creative. Just thought I'd share it with you guys. Comes in really handy when grading between houses and you want to get that nicely shape swale. Get the grade to where you want...

Had two of them and they were/are both like that right off the dealer's lot. Hydraulics are noisy on them for sure. I run mine full throttle all the time and it makes no difference.
Finally victory is mine!! While the battery is a bit weak, it isn't the problem(though it may have helped cause it). I replaced the battery with the one from my truck. click click The only thing left to do was try a new starter. $400 later and it fires right up. My initial thoughts were the...
Hopefully get it sorted tomorrow.(fingers crossed) I've got a couple hours of daylight before work so I'll give it a shot. Sucks working outside in minus 15 though. Can't wait until spring so I can start building a garage. Of course I need the skid steer to prep the ground first. A little irony...
I will try that again tonight. Also, the battery shows full charge, and it drops about 1/2 of a volt when I turn the key. I put a load test on it and it showed fine with battery tester. I have also tried it with a boost and the meter was reading 14.3 volts when I tried it that time. Is it...
