there is no bogging just completely shuts down....primer bulb is hard and full of fuel.

I believe I have found the problem of my 873 shutting down. Some times this happens after 5 min. of running and then the next time it will last 2 hours...I thought it was the pickup tube in gas tank but I discovered if I rap in the shutdown relay that is cabled into wiring harness it will fire...

This is a 1996 873 so there is not relay for the solenoid on the fuse block....instead it looks like it is wired in just before solenoid...I have no other relay like that to swap with.

The hose that came off the turbo was the one that goes to the intake so it should have been blowing out instead of sucking in crap. Maybe I will just have the tiing belt replaced and get that out of the way. Maybe the valves need adjusting also because I think the motor was replaced around 1000...

Thanks for the replies guys.....a couple of people suggested maybe the timing belt jumped a tooth so that is why I thought maybe I should replace the belt. I will let you all know what I find out but right now I don't have the cash to even put fuel into it :(
