    643/backhoe?????

I have an 85 643 1000# lift and I am wanting/needing a backhoe unit! Someone recommended a melroe 607 but they are rated @1200+ #'s and the 709 is 1400+... Does anybody know what will work with my machine for sure before I drive somewhere to pick one up? I am willing to buy one but don't want to...

    Bobcat 643 vs case 1830

Yea I looked at it and drive it a bit and ran the bucket up and down and made sure the bobtach handles worked freely.. It seems very tight or an older machine. I have a gas case 1830 and am thinking of getting a bobcat 643 that's a desiel.. Which one would be a better option... The 643 has the bobtach setup and my case has a pin on bucket and I can't find anything for the 1830 so that is swaying me twards the bobcat.. Need ideas looking at it tonight...

    What oil hydralics 1830

Thinking of changing my hydro oil but unsure what to get. Book says case oil but I have no case dealers close only tractor supply and farm store.. The pump is kinda loud when it's below 32 degrees out.

    What's it worth?

I have a 1979 case 1830 gas (rebuilt) less than 40 hours on motor. Only leaks are on the main lift cylinders and the main control valves under the seat and there not big leaks. Tires are 80% or better. I'm thinking of upgrading to a bigger machine.
