    Case 1840 died while operating

On the right hand side of the machine just behind the rops there are three main harness connections, I have seen the pins corrode inside of the plugs, there is also a main fuse there I would check there first, also the harness just above the bell housing is susceptible to wear due to vibration

    Case 1845C tilting cab forward

On the 1845c and 1840 then cab actually rolls forward which requires a little more than the later models that just tip. You have to undo the loader vale linkage, aux. vale linkage, throttle, forward reverse linkage, unplug the harness and then 4 bolts, and the bake linkage, I think that's about it.

    case 40xt

There should be a little red pull handle on the right side behind the hand throttle if you lift it up it overrides the the solenoid. To get it to lift start the tractor pull the lap bar down hold up on the red pull cable with one hand while pushing out on the left stick with the other hand

The left rear corner of the cab (if you are sitting in it) but you have to tip the cab up to see it

    Case 420ct. Electrical problem

You have probably fixed the problem by now but this may help somebody else. what happens is the loader lockout solenoids get weak and blow the fuse and when you put a bigger fuse in it actually burnt the solenoid, which is the easy way to figure out which lock out solenoid is bad, whether it is...

    445-3

There isn't a bleed screw like previous models, what I always do is just unsnap/clip the hose that comes out of the top of the filter and pump the hand pump until the fuel comes out

    1845C Hydraulics Issue

Tazza is right on the load checks, They are plugs on the loader valve that hold it until the oil builds up enough to lift, after supporting the loader (very important when working with hydraulics) you can take those plugs out and you will see a spring and a valve. What happens is that valve...

    Case 1840 Oil Fill Plug?

The actual fill plug is below and to the rear of the cover, the plug that is in the center of the cover is to remove a bearing and bushing that help support the drive motor shaft. if I was you I would just fill the oil from the front top covers until there is just enough for the chains to dip in...

case 85xt parking brake won't release.

On all XT Models on the upper right hand dash (if you are sitting in the seat) there are 3 little green lights at the bottom of the dash the one on the left is by a lightning bolt it shows that there is power to the safety circuit, the middle one is for the seat switch, the one on the right is...
