No the engine doesnt bog at all, doesnt seem to stress the motor at all just a growl noise. Maybe your right that the older ones are just noisey, lets hope so.nI d like to hear from someone with another 440 see if its common.

Tazza your right , it wont work that way. Probably designed so that you have to get a spool valve with pressure beyond from the dealer. So the search for a used one begins!
