Does anyone flip skidsteers? (By flipping I mean fixing broke and reselling)

I purchased a 2001 Bobcat 773 last fall that had rust from loading salt in the winter. Previous owner was a landscaping business and didn't do a good enough job of cleaning off salt. I was able to get my project done by Nov 1. of 2011 and even let a couple buddies use it on a couple small...

    2001 773G ACS - No lift/tilt

Got ACS to work, I cleaned all connections with contact cleaner and then added dielectric grease. I also missed a connector and I think that solve the ACS. Seat bar appears to work, I don't think it has a seat switch. Ran approximately 2 hours and then lift/tilt light went out and would not...

    2001 773G ACS - No lift/tilt

Just got it back together after a complete “frame off” repainting project and I have no lift/tilt. It is hand controls with 1292 hours. The wiring harness appeared in good shape, but I was fighting intermitant lift/tilt issues before taking apart. Usually, I would shut down or let sit for a...

    773 Cooling Fan removal?

I have a puller, but curious if anyone has had issues? First, does anyone know the thread size for the two bolts that go into the fan? Does anyone know the size and threads of the nut that holds the fan on? Mine was stripped when i removed. Mine had some rust, so I am battling that at...

773G - Hydraulic cooler eblow - NOT AVAILABLE?

Called a different dealer in another region and they quickly identified that the hose was replaced on the hydro cooler with part 7169850 (was 6673828) and the elbow should be part 88F-8 (replaced part 6718748 and corrects bad part 88F-10 that is currently in Bobcat's paperwork) and this should...

773G - Hydraulic cooler eblow - NOT AVAILABLE?

Based on the schema, I am going to cap off the Control Valve line to the hydro cooler and the feed back to the filter in order to get it moving and on the trailer...does that makes sense? I am officially done with Bobcat, I am going to take it to an awesome Hydraulic shop and have them customize...

Where to buy O-rings for hydraulic flare connections

Is there a standard size regarding the thickness that these flare fittings use? I know I can find the diameter that is common, but I don't know what the thickness is other than less than 1/16.

773G - Hydraulic cooler eblow - NOT AVAILABLE?

I have a 2001 773G and I have hit a snag, I am doing a "frame off" restoration for rust issues and I am so close to completing when I find out the hydraulic cooler elbow is no longer available. The elbow is on the left hand side of the 773 when looking at it from the back. It has the "fancy...

Where to buy O-rings for hydraulic flare connections

I have a 2001 Bobcat 773G and I am really struggling to find Orings for the hydraulic lines that go between the hydraulic control valve and the tank and loader leveling unit. They are very thin regarding thickness and are approx 1/2" in diameter and 3/8" diameter. Bobcat has ordered a couple...

    2001 773G - Control Valve leak Bonnet

It was the spool seal. Pretty easy to replace, just took my time and kept as clean as possible. Overall, looked much worse than actually was. Replaced both the upper and lower spool seals and it doesn't leak a drop...for now! Thanks.

Is it possible it just needs new covers/caps for the Bonnet?

    2001 773G - Control Valve leak Bonnet

I believe it is the upper bonnet (closest to seat) and it has a small hole in the center of the bonnet (the bonnet is a metal circle about 1 1/2 inches in diameter). thanks.

    2001 773G - Control Valve leak Bonnet

Need help, Have a 773G Turbo. Just started leaking horriblely at the back (engine side) of the control valve. I started it, lifted the cab and it runs out of the "bonnet". The bonnet is what the parts manual refers to the part as. They are covered with a green boot (plastic boot, like a cover on...
