Update : picked up a new filter this morning came back and removed the old one, hung the old filter and went to prime it up and the primer ball would not pump any fuel. So I took off the primer ball and it was stopped completely up, I couldn't even blow any air thru it. Stopped by the local boat...

Yes ,I thought about that too. I topped it off with hydraulic fluid I pulled the drain on the fuel filter and some fuel came out but kinda slow. I spayed a very small shot of starting fluid in the intake and it tried to run.

About 10min prior to the line busting. I did notice the engine run a little ruff for just a couple seconds, I reved the engine and it cleared up.I never thought of it till now. That's the first time the engine has ever done that. My fuel filter is not very old. just seems like to me it is not...
