My old 743 was getting a little harder to start lately so I checked each glow plug and found one that was not working, can you guess which one it was?

That is very similar to what happened with mine, the engine compartment door of the Bobcat was pushing against the sliding door of the shed making it very hard to open.

I have had this happen on my 743 a number of times, it is a bit disturbing to open the shed in the morning and find the Bobcat standing at an angle.

on my old 643 is was scratched into the side by hand of the fuel/hydraulic tank (i forget which side) it had date of manufacture i believe. dont have it anymore so i can't confirm but it was def there. Same with my 743.

I made a set of handle when I did some modifications to my Bobtach, the pictures were shown in this thread http://www.skidsteerforum.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=54&frmView=ShowPost&PostID=26499 but they have now disappeared. The center distance between the holes was 2.250".

I got a price from Bobcat Australia - Over $500.00 AU.

Does anyone have a genuine Support Device/Boom Stop for the 743? I would like to make one to original dimensions and was wondering if anyone has one and could post a picture that I could then use to scale up the device.

Melli, the machine is a 743 from the 1990's. They originally had a spring on each side of the bar that latched it in the up position, no gas strut on this model.
